Wet-exit/ Re-entry class

Ever wonder how to get back into your kayak after a rollover? Or how about how to get your friend back in their kayak after the same mishap?

This Saturday, September 3rd at 4pm we will be having our last wet-exit/ re-entry class of the summer. During the hour long class we'll teach solo and assisted capsize recovery techniques as well as how to proper use a spray skirt.    

The class itself will take place at Dalton Park near the Saint Helens docks on the Columbia. If you're interested, give us a call at the shop before noon on Saturday to book a spot. You can reach us at 503 397-2161.

The cost is $45, which includes a life vest, paddle and kayak, though you are more than welcome to bring your own kayak.

The weather forecast is calling for 86 degrees by 4pm so it ought to be a good day to get wet!
